By being a good listener and if needed, a problem solver. I think we all just want to know that we’re not alone in this and sometimes it really feels like we are.

I purposely leave a note in my peers mailbox. If I notice something amazing I celebrate with them. We also have weekly shoutouts where we send accolades to our peers. It’s looked forward to each week.

I also leave notes in colleagues mailboxes as a way to encourage and cheerlead them. It’s a simple thing that lifts them up!

We have a school wide weekly newsletter that our admins build and there are always shoutouts in it from things they see and notice and we are able to submit shoutouts as well.

I motivate my colleagues by acknowledging their efforts and strengths, providing positive feedback, and offering support when needed. I try to be their cheerleader by celebrating their successes, encouraging them during challenging times, and fostering a positive and collaborative environment where we can all thrive together.

I buy quality hardcover books for them from resale outlets, ones that they can’t afford to invest in. I gave away about 250 books (some paperback) last year. I keep a spreadsheet so I am sure to keep track of who received which titles.

We have a time for "Cheers for Peers" during our faculty meetings. We place a dollar in a jar and use that for the sunshine committee activities. My team celebrates birthdays and special moments together that forms bonds.

I send them positive emails to let them know how much they are appreciated.
