Hi Everyone! I work with students with disabilities in an accelerated college and career program. Do you have any ideas about the best way to choose prefixes weekly for students in a high school dental science class?
Not a question per se, but I wanted to share a book I’m reading this year that I think is a struggle for all teachers in the area of mathematics instruction.
“Underestimated and over- scaffolded” is what stood out to me and mostly because I know that I am guilty of both as a teacher.
Has anyone read this book?
During my dissertation work, I used a age appropriate mock crime scene to help my kinder students investigate some fairy tale crimes (Who stole the Little Red Hen’s loaf of bread), and am looking for other immersive experiences outside of mock crime scenes and escape rooms. Any other suggestions?
