Our intervention team uses the approach of Remind, Redirect, Return-this for students that are being disrespectful and/or not participating etc How do you address student behavior so that it gives them choice/s yet doesn’t interfere with the learning opportunities for other students in small groups?

How do you hold students accountable during centers? Specifically for second through fifth grade. Some teachers at my school are struggling with this and would love some additional ideas to share!

The new year is a great time to review classroom rules and procedures. What creative ways do you use to review the rules?

We use orange folders for studentswho are a part of our Student Study multidisciplinary team/s. We summarize interventions, response to intervention, etc in a final recommendations report/pdf. This will then go into the student’s file. What does this look like in your school?

How do you promote student leadership in your classroom? One way that I promote leadership with the students is by giving a list of Leadership Axioms. During the first days of school while review policies and procedures, the axioms are introduced. We use these to help us become a better leader.
