What are some do’s and don’ts for emailing parents, colleagues, and administrators?

Does your school or district plan an open house prior to the first day of school, on the night of the first day of school, or sometime afterwards?

What advice do you have on building a good relationship with my administration? How often should a newer teacher be communicating with them? About what?
