My admins are amazing at building morale! From the Woot Woot wagon filled with treats when we have perfect staff attendance to snacks at every single staff meeting, they do lots of little things in between to raise and keep morale up!

They also leave notes in your mailbox telling you something awesome you did while teaching, give shoutouts in our weekly newsletter, facilitate school awards (golden fork for great class behavior in the cafeteria, silent slipper for classes walking quietly in the hallways, and the staff golden apple that is passed from staff member to staff member each month), and they raise funds to gift us with school themed gear twice a year.

We have a Social Committee that plans a fun activity every month. We do secret pals all year and an occasional sunshine cart of surprises. We do a beginning of the year, Christmas and end of the year party as well. We like to spend time together and get to know each other.

We like to do socials! We had a committee in the past but we have a new admin team so that hasn’t happened this year but maybe next year!

We actually have a ‘fun club’ … we plan everything from Escape Rooms to Trivia night!

Our admin has a “First Friday” theme for each month. We also have a Sunshine Committee that initiates activities like Sunshine Pals that give a small little treat each month. On certain holidays, there are faculty games (email bingo) and things. PTO is encouraged to help teachers with providing lunches every quarter for faculty and staff. There are giveaways before breaks that are provided by school partners.
